Privacy Policy
Effective October 16, 2026
This policy explains what Petite Home Co. collects when you use our website, buy from us, or use the Petite Home app for iPhone, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain on purpose. The app is covered in section 10.
1. Information you give us
When you ask for the Family File, we collect your email address and the age bracket of your youngest child, and we use them to send you the Family File and occasional notes suited to your stage. When you ask us to tell you when a product is available, we collect your email address and use it for that and occasional notes. If you joined our earlier pre-sale list, we hold your email address and whether you told us you would want a subscription. You can unsubscribe from any of these at any time. When you buy or contact us, we collect your email address, name, shipping and billing address, and order details. Payment is handled by our payment processor — we receive confirmation of a charge, not your full card number.
2. Information collected automatically
Like most sites, we collect basic technical data — device and browser type, pages viewed, and similar analytics — through cookies and similar technologies. This includes the TikTok pixel, which helps us understand how our ads perform and reach people who may be interested.
3. How we use your information
To process and ship your order, communicate with you about it, provide support, improve the site and our products, measure and run marketing, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and pixels for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through your device or the ad platform’s own controls. Turning some cookies off may affect how the site works.
5. How we share information
We share information with service providers who run the site and fulfill orders — our commerce platform, payment processors, shipping carriers, and email and analytics providers — and with advertising partners such as TikTok to measure and deliver ads. We may share information to comply with the law or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information for money.
6. Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain sharing for advertising. To make a request, email us at ryan@petitehome.co.
7. Data retention
We keep your information as long as needed to provide our service, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes, then delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and our commerce and payment providers encrypt transactions. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s privacy
Our products are for babies and children, but our site and store are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. The Petite Home app for iPhone
Everything you enter in the app — contacts, children’s details, medical notes, insurance, documents, calendars, tasks, meals, plans and the vault — is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit. It syncs between your devices and, if you invite them, your partner’s, through Apple’s own sharing. Petite Home Co. has no server that receives this data and no way to read it. There is no Petite Home account and no sign-in: the app identifies you by your iCloud user record, which we never receive.
The vault is encrypted on your phone with a key stored in your household’s iCloud record under Apple’s end-to-end encryption and cached in your iCloud Keychain. Gate and alarm codes use a separate key that never leaves your device. We cannot recover vault contents if you lose access to your iCloud account.
What the app does send us: an email address, if you type one on the Family File reveal screen, together with the age range of your youngest child, which goes to our email list on Klaviyo as described in section 1; a record of your subscription status, kept by RevenueCat against an anonymous ID and your iCloud record name so a purchase follows you across devices, with payment itself handled by Apple; and anonymous usage counts through PostHog, such as which screens are opened and whether onboarding was finished, not linked to your name or email and not used for advertising. The app does not track you across other apps or websites and does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission.
The app asks for Contacts, Camera, Photos, Calendars, Reminders, Face ID and Notifications only when you use the feature that needs each one, and whatever you choose to add stays in your iCloud. Partner sharing uses iCloud sharing; trusted-person links share a PDF of the Family File through iCloud with an expiry you choose and can revoke in the app; sitter sheets are text you send yourself and never include codes or account details.
To delete everything the app holds, use Settings → Delete this household, which removes it from your phone and from iCloud. To remove your email from our list, use the unsubscribe link or write to us. To delete the subscription record held by RevenueCat, write to us and we will process it within 30 days. Apple, RevenueCat, PostHog and Klaviyo each have their own privacy policy; none of them receive the contents of your Family File, Planner or vault.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the “Effective” date above will reflect the latest version.
