non-toxic baby and home

made for small people, and everyone cleaning up after them

Non-toxic things for babies and the house around them. We start with whether a thing actually works, then we make it clean — never the other way around.

An unlabeled ivory vessel on a warm plaster ledge beside folded blush linens and dried lavender.

no dyes · no optical brighteners · no synthetic fragrance

A tall unlabeled ivory ceramic jar with a pale wooden lid, side-lit against a dusty lavender plaster wall.

the first product

Petite Powderbaby-safe laundry detergent

Non-toxic detergents have a reputation, and it’s earned. The ingredient list is honest and the clothes come out grey. You notice, you go back to the thing that works, and you feel a bit bad about it.

We don’t think that’s a trade you should have to make. It’s a formulation problem, not a law of nature. So Petite Powder is built to clean first — and then to have a label you can read all the way down.

See what’s inside

gets it out

Spit-up, purée, blowouts, grass. Enzyme-based cleaning that dissolves fully in cold water, on a delicate cycle.

then, what’s in it

No dyes, no optical brighteners, no synthetic fragrance. Made for the first year, and every year after.

made to be used

It looks good on the counter, which is a small thing. It’s for the load you’re running tonight, not for saving for good.

A wooden-handled scoop heaped with fine white laundry powder, resting on blush and lavender linen.

the gap

safe is not the same as clean

Something changes when you bring a baby home. You start turning bottles around in the store, reading past the front of the package — and then finding the honest ones don’t really work.

That’s the shelf we’re trying to fix. One product at a time, starting with the load you’re running right now.

nothing hidden

every ingredient, all of them listed

Every ingredient and what it does, printed on the jar and here on this page. No proprietary blends, no "fragrance" standing in for thirty things.

We’re still finalizing the formula. The full list goes up here the day it’s set — every ingredient, where it comes from, and what it’s for. We’d rather show you nothing than a placeholder.

simple

one scoop, any cycle

  1. Measure

One scoop for a regular load, half for a small one.

  2. Wash

Cold or warm, delicate or normal. It dissolves properly in HE and standard machines.

  3. Done

No fabric softener needed. It rinses clean on its own.

Five unlabeled ceramic vessels in ivory, clay and blush, evenly spaced on a warm oak shelf.

we’ll write when there’s something to say

When Petite Powder launches, what we’re working on next, and the odd note about keeping a house running with a baby in it. That’s it.
