Petite Home for iPhone

Getting started
Build the Family File. The first screen asks who’s at home. From there the app walks you through contacts, each child’s doctor, allergies and medications, and your insurance. The ring on the Home tab shows what’s still missing. Most people finish in about five minutes.
Add your partner. Home → Share with partner. The app sends an iCloud share link by Messages. When they open it on their iPhone with Petite Home installed, they land in the household with their own calendars and nothing to re-enter. Both of you need iCloud turned on for Petite Home in iPhone Settings → your name → iCloud.
Hand it to a sitter or grandparent. Family File → Share → choose a person. A standing link keeps itself current when you edit the file. The recipient needs the app installed to open it. Revoke a link from the same sheet.
Print it. Family File → Paper. AirPrint it at home or order a bound binder through petitehome.co.
Premium
Premium adds expiration reminders, the encrypted vault and the Planner: shared calendars, tasks, meals and plans. It’s billed through your Apple account weekly, monthly or yearly. The weekly plan starts with a first week for 99 cents, then renews at the weekly price until you cancel. Manage or cancel any plan in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
My partner still sees the paywall. One subscription covers both of you through Apple Family Sharing. Turn Family Sharing on in iPhone Settings → your name → Family Sharing, make sure “Share purchases” is on, then have your partner open Petite Home and tap Restore purchases on the paywall.
Restoring on a new phone. Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases. The subscription follows your Apple account and your iCloud account.
Founding member code. Enter it in the field at the bottom of the paywall. Codes look like PH-XXXX-XXXX and unlock premium for 12 months.
Common questions
Where is my data stored? On your phone and in your own iCloud account. Petite Home Co. has no server that holds it and no way to read it. See the privacy policy.
I can’t open the vault. The vault opens with Face ID or your passcode. If you’ve just joined a household as a partner, give iCloud a few minutes to deliver the household key, then try again. If you’ve been signed out of iCloud, sign back in with the same Apple account.
Partner sharing isn’t working. Check that both phones are signed in to iCloud, have iCloud Drive on, and have a network connection. Have the owner re-send the share link from Home → Share with partner. If the link opens Safari instead of the app, install Petite Home first, then tap the link again.
Tasks aren’t showing in the Reminders app. Settings → Phone sync → turn on Reminders. The app creates a “Petite Home” list and syncs on launch, when you return to the app, and after each save. Completing a reminder in the Reminders app completes the task in Petite Home on the next sync.
Calendar events are missing. The Planner mirrors the calendars you picked during onboarding. Change the selection in Settings → Calendars. The app reads your calendar; it never changes events on it.
Expiration reminders didn’t arrive. Check that notifications are allowed for Petite Home in iPhone Settings → Notifications, and that the item has an expiry date set.
A recipe wouldn’t import. The importer reads recipe pages that include standard recipe data, which most big recipe sites do. If a page doesn’t, paste the recipe in by hand.
Deleting everything. Settings → Delete this household. This removes the household from your phone and from iCloud for every member. It can’t be undone.
Requirements
iPhone running iOS 17 or later. iCloud is required for sync and sharing. Not available on iPad or Mac in version 1.0.
